Thinking Ahead

This doesn't apply to everyone, but for those coming up, wondering, or for those who just want to buy me presents . . . my graduation ceremony will be on December 13, 2008 at 10:30AM. And of course, all of you are welcome to buy me pre . . . I mean . . . to come up for my graduation.

For those of you that want to attend via internet, you can do so here. But I still expect a present.

The Warrior

So tonight at work, it was a lot of fun. (No sarcasm whatsoever. Seriously.) I was so busy and one of the clients flipped out and did his best to run from a seclusion room while taking a few people down with him. One of my colleagues had to go to the hospital, and the rest of us seem to be okay. I just wanted to show my first battle wounds from this job. Not bad after 18 months, eh?

the Theatrical Trailer

Although I know many of you don't care, I'm posting this for the one (or possibly two people) that do. The X-files trailer.

Budget Cuts

Today while picking up my paycheck I learned that I can only sign up to work two shifts a week instead of three. This is good and bad. Will I be able to survive financially? Yes. I'll just have to be a bit more restrictive as to what I spend my money on. On the flip side, I will get an extra day off which will help me cope with . . . well, how busy life has been. So I'll have more time to do homework, sleep, eat, and drink (refer to one of my previous posts if you don't understand that one).

So all in all, I'm okay with it. Although it would have been nice having more of a warning.

So in the long run, do I really want to work for a company that keeps doing things like this? Who knows, only time will tell.

If I Could Suggest

Although this may not apply to most of you, if you ever have the opportunity to watch the most mild of X-files episodes prior to going to bed or taking a nap . . . don't. You'll have some really crazy dreams.

Shameful Confession

I've really been battling this for a long time and I hate to admit it, but I know that by admitting it I can overcome it and become a better person. I have a drinking problem. I realized this the other day when I went to the store and spent around $40 on various drinks. Fruit juices, flavored water, limeade (my extreme weakness), and milk. I spend a lot of money on drinking. It is really a habit I'd like to kick, but it gives me so much pleasure. My taste buds scream for joy when that flavored libation gently caresses them on its journey to my stomach.

Well, they say the first step to overcoming problems is admitting you have a problem. So there it is.

Oh, and I got an A in my class last semester.
