Just Finished

I just completed the first draft of a story I've been working on for almost two years now. Due to school and lack of inspiration for a while, I didn't touch it. But I just barely finished it and I have such an amazing feeling. It was originally based off of a dream which developed into something more as I began to type it.

It's not a long story, only 30 pages. But the content was something so simple, yet meaningful that I've been wanting get across for so long. And now, it's out there.

Of course, I now need to go through and revise it, make sure it is consistent, and to clarify the characters/situations as necessary. But it is nice having arrived at this point.

There's another Halloween story I've been working on for several years, for the same reason, with less meaning than my current story. I think I'll work on that one next.
