Well, here I am back from another day/night at work. The day was good, a bit busy at times but that's alright. So today me and a coworker did an intake together and I was supposed to do another one. The gentleman that came in was unable to complete the paperwork and so after being locked in a room he fell asleep. I was told that I should complete the paperwork and I thought, "Great. Once he wakes up, I will complete the paperwork." This was round 4-5PM. So the clock hits 11PM and the gentleman just wakes up. Having been unable to complete the paperwork honestly, I left a note for the next shift asking them to complete it. The paperwork consists of 3 pages of simple questions. (ie: Why are you here? Are you suicidal? Have you physically assaulted anyone before?) So apparently the next shift 'flips out' that they need to complete the paperwork so they tell me to fill out one page as if I really knew what was going on. The problem was, I have never seen nor even talked to the person that came in much less be aware of his situation. So how can I complete a single page stating what his problem is nor what the solution should be? Nonetheless they told me to do it. I objected and they said, "Just lie." So here it is (un)officially documented that the swing shift of CTC on 2/26/2007 suggested I falsify the document just so it would be complete. Also the person who shares my middle name as his first and worked a double shift today suggested I lie on the paperwork.
Need I say more?
